Runescape Combat Pure

A Runescape combat pure is a character who focuses primarily on battle oriented skills, in an attempt to become a strong damage dealer. The main purpose of a combat pure is to become strong to enough to engage in player versus player (PvP) combat, and thus be known as a PKer (player killer) or simply PvPer. There are 4 main builds for a Runescape combat pure: warriors (melee), archers (range), magicians (magic/runes), and hybrids.

The majority of Runescape combat pure accounts are warriors, because not only can do they do a lot of damage, but they are able to tank a lot as well. They are very expensive since not only do you need to spend money on powerful weapons, but you need to purchase expensive armor.

The next most common Runescape combat pures are archers. Archers use ranged longbowsand crossbows to deal heavy damage from a distance. The main concept of an archer is to kill the target from far away before it can reach you. This is because Archers are very weak and easily out damaged in melee fighting. In addition, because archers are pretty much dead if thetarget can get in melee range, archers spend the majority of their money on expensive bows rather than armor.

Pure Magicians/mages are a fairly rare Runescape combat pure type, compared to warriors and archers. Magicians are similar to archers in that they prefer to fight from a distance. Pure mages are the weakest of the combat pure characters in terms of straight combat, but they make up for it with powerful magic. However, they must obtain runes in order to use their devastating magic, which can be very costly with consistent magic usage.

Runescape combat pure hybrids are simply mixes between the other three combat pure types. Warriors and archers often use magic as their secondary skills since it allows them to heal or buff themselves during combat.

The reason why Runescape continues to be a popular game among online gamers is the variety of builds. These different types of combat builds give variation in the game, so that every character can be unique.
